The Bioboosted Hellspawn

This artwork started to make form back in 2015. This was to the 2015 Comicon Challenge. The goal was to combine two characters/heroes and create a new one from them.
I decided to create "The Bioboosted Hellspawn". Guyver is just an amazing character and I loved the animated series and the movies too. But my true love in this work was to be able to work on a Spawn character. Todd McFarlanes Spawn was the first comicbook character that I just drew all day everyday after I have first sawn it. That was the first time I realized I love to draw and create and actually Im not that bad at it.

1st step: tried to find the right pose and bodytype. Because I know from the beginning that he will have a musculature detailed armor I tried to put down the muscles right in the first phase.

2nd step: drew the "Spawn signature" cape because its just as important as the character.

4th step: the most important one... to find the STYLE. Tried to find the right balance between the two characters. To be able to represent both epic figures.

5th step: made the "almost finished" design for the bodyarmor without the cape to be able to show as much details as I can. (not pretty happy with the face -_- )
