"Biomechanoid Heart" - Brute - Poster Art

Character design for my Biomechanoid Heart comic.
With these characters, biomechanical creatures, my goal is not only to create some good-looking, cool characters for the story. I myself am constantly trying to understand and articulate what really represents cosmic horror for me and with which visual elements I could best communicate this to others, including the viewer. In my opinion, body horror is an integral part of cosmic horror. But I would like to present this without having to scatter several liters of blood and dismembered corpses in my illustrations and designs. With colors, proportions, and shapes, I want to create that unsettling feeling in the viewer, which is so typical of this subject and an effective tool for this type of horror.
